Client brief
The design required a climate-oriented approach with a sloping roof, sunlight permeability and emphasis on ventilation. We came up with something unique in the form of a sloping roof flowing inwards to form the habitable volumes. The volume inside is punctuated with voids to allow for natural ventilation and visibility.
The triangular-prism volume was then sub-divided vertically, which became the 3 levels of the house. A person enters into the living space, climbs up to the bedrooms on the second level and further to the recreational area on the third.
