• Client brief Surrounded by the tranquil marine environment and mangroves, Espacio at Puerto Cancún is a landmark mixed-use development designed to be the heart of an expanding community. Its "U"-shaped main building encloses a central public plaza, offering shaded refuge and fostering social interaction. A passageway leads to the "Gourmet Pavilion," where the building’s clean lines contrast with the pavilion's curves. The ground floor’s stone base anchors the structure, while a wooden lattice on the upper levels creates a play of light and shadow. Transparent upper levels invite natural light, seamlessly blending architecture with the surrounding landscape.
