The Jayhawk Welcome Center is changing the game as one of the most curated welcome centers in higher education. Teaming up with DI, Helix Architecture, and McCownGordon to create an industry-leading space illustrating what it means to be a Jayhawk. In addition to creating brand elements and graphics, DI developed, fabricated, and installed touchscreen technology and interactives. DI created a content management system integrated into the university’s enrollment software, allowing staff to control and update content displays. Students receive a QR code to share their field of study, interests, etc. This QR code prompts personalized displays in the welcome center.
