Client brief The site, surrounded by water with views of nearby mountain ranges, provides an environment of unique beauty. The designer has taken the existing building and drastically modified its structure and façade, to create flowing sight lines and circulation within, while large windows imbue the villa with plentiful natural light while blurring the line with the natural environment. An elegant minimalist aesthetic defined by white walls, oak flooring, and timber veneer is punctuated by a sculptural spiral staircase, linen curtains, stone tabletops, and carefully selected soft furnishings. Altogether, the result is a place of serene connection, evoking idyllic emotions.
