Client brief
Gulf Adiba, an IT office building marks shapes an urban identity through a prominent, curvilinear façade that marks a departure from the ubiquitous monolithic, box-shaped buildings. Following the traditional Hindu principles of Vastu, the seven-story the tall structure features a stilted open space, freeing up the ground to facilitate daylight and fresh air ingress. The orientation-sensitive design focuses on a roofline that follows the floor profile to complement the overall form of the built volume. The resulting structure bears a resemblance to the dunes, with each distinct floor characterized by the ripples on a dune.
