About
Studio Meraki is a design studio envisioned by Shweta Kaw, an architect with 15 years of experience in the industry including a successful role as a Sustainable Design Consultant in Singapore after completing her post graduation (Msc. Building performance & Sustainability) from the prestigious National University of Singapore as a gold medalist.
The Studio’s practice is diverse and ranges from architecture, green building design, interior & furniture design as well as graphics.
As the name suggests, our intention is to aim for building happy and healthy spaces for man to dwell in its habitat and nurture for him an improved sense of well being by paying attention to psychological & physiological comfort and hence garnering less distress levels in our society.
Awards
• Nominated in the Architecture Category at the DSM 2021 Awards, Italy for the project Hotel Rama Trident, Katra, April 2021.
• Won on the Outstanding Interior Design Award at Eldrok Indian Architecture Awards, February 2021.
• Won the Second Award for the project Villa at Jaypee Greens, Greater Noida at the Global Future and Design Awards 2020 in the category of Interior Design (Residential).
• Won the 34th cycle of World Architecture Community Awards, 2020 for the project Villa at Jaypee Greens, Greater Noida in the category of Interior Design (Residential). We won in the Jury as well as Public voting.
• Shweta Kaw was selected amongst IGEN 2020 top 50 young architects in India under the age of 40 by Architect and Interiors India magazine.
• Was nominated by Build Review Magazine, UK in the 5th Annual Architecture Awards, March 2019
• Won the Third Award in the World Architecture & Design Awards, 2019 in the Hospitality Category for Hotel Rama Trident, Katra
