‘Post the Pause,’ an art & design show, will take place on Thursday, November 17 and Friday, November 18, 2022, from 10 am to 7 pm each day, at One Lodha Place. Curated by Hina Oomer-Ahmed and Amrita ShahSingh Kilachand, this show follows their last, sold-out exhibition in March 2022. The concept remains the same – to support studios and galleries in their endeavour to showcase their artist's works to a wider, but more focused, audience.

Both Hina and Amrita aim to create a platform in Mumbai which enables art buyers and collectors to access artists' studios outside the city, thereby becoming more familiar with works from across the country.

Speaking about the show, Oomer-Ahmed says, “Post the Pause is about what has drawn us back after stepping away from the frantic pace of life before the pandemic. It’s a more reflective and serene perspective of art and design in spaces that inspire the space to think and be. As with the earlier show, we have enjoyed curating and bringing together upcoming and established artists and showcasing their work in a more interior-oriented context so the works come alive in accented spaces as they would in real homes.”

On display will be working by inter-disciplinary artist Julius Das, who works with photographs, text-based works, moving images and installations; Surita Tandon, a young artist who focuses on translating pop art to the canvas; Gulab Kapadiya, who is known for his soft watercolour washes, creating an almost-vintage effect on rice paper and canvas; and many more.
